Application of amino acid biostimulant

source: time: 2019-03-12 10:41:40

It is generally believed that a protein is composed of more than 51 amino acids. Usually, those composed of 11-50 amino acids are called poly-peptides, and those composed of 2-10 amino acids are called oligopeptides (also called oligopeptides, small peptides). Single amino acids are also called free amino acids, and the relative molecular weight of free amino acids is the smallest. In theory, it is believed that the smaller the molecular weight, the easier it is to be absorbed, but it may not be exactly that. A dozen different free amino acids will compete and antagonize in the process of being absorbed by plants, just like the sixteen nutrient elements we are familiar with, mutual promotion, competition and antagonism.

Although peptides, oligopeptides and amino acids are gradually decomposed from proteins, oligopeptides have unique physiological functions (growth regulation, disease resistance, etc.) that amino acids do not possess, and are easier to be absorbed by plants without consuming their own energy. Oligopeptides and polypeptides are also plant endogenous hormones, which play an important role in the development of plants. The mechanism of polypeptide hormones is very complicated. Only oligopeptides can have thousands of different combinations.

A highly functional amino acid biostimulant is not only as simple as containing amino acids, oligopeptides, and peptides. Many foreign companies will add some biologically active substances that can increase functions, such as amino acid derivatives, on the basis of total amino acids. , Vitamin series, betaine, seaweed and other plant extracts, make full use of the functionality of these active substances, combined with amino acids, to play a greater role.
